About the event
Let’s Fly! This 8 week session is for absolute beginners as well as any Level 1 student with previous experience. This beginner class is designed as a foundation for Aerial Fabric Arts, as well as a continuation of Level 1 progressions previously learned.
Participants will learn the basics of Aerial Silks, as well as safe warm up techniques, flexibility basics, proper conditioning for Aerial Dance, and best practices for safety in aerial arts.
We will focus on the foundational skills for Silks Level 1, including: basic climbs, knots, footlocks, inverts, and positions in the air.
Class meets every Tuesday at 5:00pm
8 week session runs from January 9th through February 27th, 2024.
(In the event of snow days, we will have a make up class Tuesday, March 5th and, if needed, Tuesday, March 12th)
